broseph

it's joe's birthday today!
happy 21st, brother!

did you all know that i can legitimately use the term "broseph?" since my BROther's name actually is joSEPH? that is if you don't mind combining words to make new ones. i don't.


joe's yet in the states today, so his 21st birthday still means something, even though in practice, i'm sure it's only a mere technicality.the part that really bums me about all this, however, is the fact that he'll be stuck on base through his birthday and then, days later and over his birthday weekend, he'll be on a flight to iraq.

he's not nervous. but i am.


anyway, over the next 7 months i'll be gathering and sending hilarious and unique dvds to him over there for entertainment. (and by unique i mean unbelievably awesome and little known movies that he or his buddies over there probably won't have seen or heard of, but will love none the less...think rock and roll nightmare). so if anyone out there wants to contribute a movie of some sort, or anything else really, to send over to the boys in iraq, let me know.
